Why will us humans be free to do any of the things that are full of germs when we go back to our old lives again?

Like we’ll feel free to touch our faces when we have an itch, and stuff like that. And we’ll also be free to touch the spicket of the drinking water fountain with our mouths when we go to drink water from it. 

Why will us humans feel free to do any of these things that are full of germs when we go back to our old lives again?

you have always been free to do those things. but there is a risk associated with those actions.

That risk may go down when the pandemic is over (if it ever is) and you may chose to perform those actions, or you may not.
