Is it OK to excerise with sore muscles?

I started going back to gym on Thursday after almost a year due to covid-19. My leg muscles are still feeling sore, but is it ok to do come light cardio? Like walking on the treadmill or bike?  Thanks

    delayed onset muscular soreness. DOMS. Should be about over after 3  days. But you havent been training . That type of cardio isnt the same as heavy squats so it wont hurt ypu.
