A while back I had covid and I told someone I knew?

at a store that I had it. Anyway, there is this one place I eat at every other day, and the person whom I told I had covid ran and told someone who worked at this restaurant that I had covid because a 3 weeks after I said that I had covid I walked into this place and the manager said I could not eat in there and I would have to show him a Doctor's excuse if I wanted to eat in there. When I walked into this restaurant I didn't have covid19 anymore. For someone to tell someone I had covid, isn't this a violation of privacy?
