Are double standards and hypocrisy EXACTLY the same?

Are they EXACTLY the same or SIMILAR?  What's the difference?  Example of each.

No, not exactly. If I am guilty of hypocrisy, it might mean I insincerely profess beliefs that contradict my actual behavior. Take for example Captain Renault's line in the film Casablanca: "I'm shocked! Shocked to find that gambling is going on in here." The croupier then hands him his own winnings.

To have double standards means to apply different standards to two different groups, especially to do so unjustly. Historically many societies turned a blind eye to unfaithful husbands, while an unfaithful wife would bring great disgrace to herself and her family.
