    smoke is a result of fire, since there isnt a really a biproduct of water the answer would most likely be something like steam

    trolls..... fire has 4 letters.  smoke has 5.  Water has 5 letters, trolls has 6 letters.

    there's not really a good answer here. Smoke is mostly just unburned particles in a chemical reaction. Smoke is not a gas so saying that "water is to steam" isn't really correct, but it is probably the best answer.
