I have been defeating zapdos and trying to capture him over and over again by getting him low and throwing pokeballs at him any easier way?

Status effects increase catch rate: sleep, paralyze, etc.  Careful for poison/burn though as you will knock it out over time.

Yeah I remember doing that on pokemon yellow, you just have to use the best pokeballs you have and try over and over, I think it took me like 12 tries or something. Some say inflicting paralysis and/or sleep helps to catch it.

must be the gameboy version...it is super hard to catch..you need great balls ..and lots of them
