it was 43,000  when  the death rates slowed down and then lockdown was lifted and bubbles set up  so you can travel to and  from other peoples houses  and  now it is near 100,000 dead  after they were told not to let people mingle over Christmas and we see hundreds of people out and about and especially non mask wearing dog walkers.

and traffic levels are huge.told that this new variant is now more deadly after we were told it was not more deadly. went to doctors yesterday and it was busy with traffic and people out and about and teenage  lads  outside a shop  and there is no lockdown.

All have been underestimating the power of the UK variant of the virus. It is much lethal in fact.

There is new evidence that some people that have received the vaccine, have still caught Covid.  Some people don't even know they've got it and go onto giving it to others.

The 'Greener' mask wearers, ie those of us that have opted to wear washable face masks, rather than wear once and end up in Landfill style.  Are possibly less protected than those of you that don't care about the Environment and wear the more protective but more wasteful type of face mask.

My advice is to continue to wear a face mask, whenever you have to mix with other people (unless it's within your own home).  Wash your hands and change your clothes once you get home from work (yes some of us, still have to work outside the home) or from shopping.  People with long hair, should tie it up, in case Covid droplets land on your hair.  Have a shower before bed and wash your hair.

Exercise to improve your Lung capacity, so that if you get Covid, your Lungs can give you the breath you need to help you live.

What happened was a new highly contagious variant mutated from the original Coronovirus and with people still failing to obey social distancing rules the disease is out of control and because of these selfish morons we will probably be locked down until the summer.  

700 strong Halloween parties,  house parties and Christmas have all contributed to the present lockdown and the majority have to suffer due to the selfish few. 

Keeping schools open was also a big mistake too.
