Einstein proved light bends in gravity, .however the bending is outward since photons have no weight. .

"Around the curvature of the Earth" includes any and all distortions to a straight line. So it's not only possible, it is proven.

Spacetime curvature due to Earth's gravity not strong enough to bend the light as a closed circle
- VamanLv 71 month ago
Not possible because the electron density is not very high. Only waves of megahertz can bend go around the earth. Higher frequencies just pass through.

No. Certainly not. Earth's gravity is far too weak. Only light at a black holes event horizon can bend enough to go in a circle. Don't confuse the curvature of earth's surface with spacetime curvature due to gravity.

If you mean all the way around, no. It will curve only slightly due to its high velocity. If you think of an apple dropping 5 feet in a second (or whatever) consider the fact that light has traveled 186,000 miles in a second. So in a constant gravitational field, it has deviated 5 feet from straight in 186,000 miles.

Gravity bends space-time, so yes, light does bend around the Earth
