What protects you more from COVID-19? Face shields or the masks? I think face shields are better?

Neither. These are placebos for public hysteria over the COVID virus.
Think of it this way. If you can smell things through a mask, or while wearing a shield, why would you believe the mask or shield is keeping virus particles out of your lungs. It's not.

Both, should be used, the shield does not stop air from coming up the bottom of it.

Be healthy, not too old, not overweight, have no vitamin D deficiency, wash your hands when you return home, don't touch your face when you're out, that's about it. Unless you get a proper mask fitted by a specialist who will mould the mask to your face, and that mask has replaceable filters, other masks are useless because they aren't airtight. The virus is smaller than the holes in it and face shields have a big gap around the sides.

It's proven that none of those work. Only dumbass sheep continue to wear them in public.

I wear a zombie mask.

A well fitting mask offers better protection against airborne diseases such as covid-19. Airbourne diseases' easily pass around the sides of the face shield.

This is not an opinion. It has been proven that a good mask/covid mask protects you much better. A shield does little or nothing. Read the CDC site.

Masks are better because they filter the air you breathe. Shields let air in around the edges, so you can inhale it.
Covid breath is like smoke. Imagine being next to a smoker as he breathes out. It becomes a cloud, so if you inhale, the air goes around the shield.
The best combination is both, with the shield to stop heavy droplets from coughs, and a mask to stop the finer particles.
