Cuz they say....it was an   'accident'. They admit the millions dead, but blame Enver Pasha for exceeding his authority and allowing the documented genocide.

It was mostly done by Kurds, the Turks are not responsible for the crimes of the Ottoman Empire.   In addition, Armenian nationalist groups were carrying out genocidal attacks on villages of other ethnicities, as was observed by the American ambassador at the time.
