How to Become a Freelance Python Developer?

Learn how to program.  Find someone willing to hire you to gain experience.  Gain experience.  Decide where to go from there.

"Learn" tends to have a very flexible definition among candidates in my experience as a hiring professional.

As a hiring professional, my definition is much more strict, especially for "freelancers" or contractors, especially since I was a contractor for many years.

If you really want to be successful, you'll become a competent programmer in general prior to becoming a successful "freelancer."

If, as I've seen often, people freelance when they don't really know what they're doing, they burn themselves and their employers and prospective customers out pretty quickly.

Why? Traditional "freelancers" and contractors are generally professionals who go from traditional employment into advisory and contract business because they are specialists in a field in high demand with moderate to low supply (see "supply and demand economics" if you don't know what that means.)

If you're one of a (possibly growing) few in the right conditions, you could forego long-term employment and enter directly into the contracting market without much difficulty.

No matter what, if you want to do something, you'll spend all the extra time and energy and focus you have on that goal.

Source(s): Personal experience. Keep it in mind but don't take it as gospel. Everyone lives a very different life.
