# Help with calculation step by step to get answer.?

mass density =2.95*10^-4 kg/m

wavelength = 2 × 1.2/2 = 1.2 m

Frequency = 1/ λ(T/m)^1/2 =

How do I calculate this step by step:

120*1.2=(T/2.95*10^-4)^1/2

mass density would be in kg/m²

yes, 2 x 1.2/2 = 1.2, what is your point?

Frequency = 1/ λ(T/m)^1/2

What is T ? have not seen this formula before...

just from units, we have

1/sec = 1 / meters√(T/kg)

meters√(T/kg) = sec

√(T/kg) = sec/meters

T/kg = s²/m²

T = kg•s²/m² ?? unknown

finally, what do you want to calculate. Perhaps T ?

120*1.2=(T/2.95*10^-4)^1/2

144 = √(T/0.000295)

T/0.000295 = 144² = 20736

T = 20736 • 0.000295 = 6.117 kg•s²/m²

(have no idea what the units actually are)
