Venus is our need to relate to others. It is also what we think love is about. And also what our general taste and aesthetics are like.

Scorpio is a style of emotional intensity.  All or nothing, black-or-white, no half-way.  So this is the style of relating for those with Venus in Scorpio.

BUT, all Signs have the potential for constructive action and for dysfunctional action.

And whether Venus is Scorpio works well or works badly for relating, depends on how Venus interacts with (aspects) any of the other 9 planets in the birthchart.

ALWAYS LOOK FIRST at how a planet aspects other planets, because that sets the whole tone for whether that need/planet express the positive or the negative style of the Sign it is in.

Scorpio positive is slow to commit, but toally loyal and committed once they make up their mind. Their love is deep and they work on changing overcoming their own emotions when the relationship moves into the conflict phase.

Badly aspected, the Socrpio negative tries to control the other person rather than working with themselves. This may be attempts to manipulate their partner, or may be as negative as threatening or coercing their partner.

The 10th house is the House of how we try to fit into the world at large.  It is mostly connected to our career, but also to a lesser extent to our public reputation.  Venus in the 10th House either wants someone who helps their own reputation or seeks to satisfy relationship needs THROUGH career activity. They may be attracted to their boss, or their idea of love might be that they are busy out in the world, and they only relate when they come home.  Or other ways.  It is up to you to observe your relating needs and see how status/reputation/career/authority relates to your relationship needs.  No astrology can come up with all of the possible ways that a chart factor might affect a person. That is why all astrologers talk WITH the person in a two-way conversation, and it can take 1 to 2 hours to cover the information in the natal chart.

Hundreds of astrology websites that can answer this. But, you come to the entertainment section of Yahoo asking for speculations from strangers.

Don’t be cheap with irrational belief. Otherwise bother at all.
