Will Covid ever end?

I don't think so.  I think the restrictions and such will eventually fade away, the news will eventually stop covering it, there may be a small announcement declaring that it is no longer a pandemic but there will never be an announcement exclaiming 'COVID IS OVER!'  Eventually, something big will happen and everyone will forget about just about it so... get a jump on everyone and just start to 'fugeddaboutit!'

At the rate we are going it doesn't seem like it. Every time we start getting a handle on things there is a new push to rush and open everything and a new wave of infections appear, and along come new variants that are more virulent or resistant to the vaccines we developed based on the old strains.

Some countries did a good job of handling things. They initiated lockdowns without people protesting and complaining that wearing a mask violates their personal freedoms and they closed their borders without people arguing that it is racist to restrict travel from infected countries. They got people to wear masks and practice social distancing, not insisting that Thanksgiving and Christmas are more important than health and safety, or that they should be allowed to crowd into packed churches and force their kids to sit shoulder to shoulder in poorly ventilated classrooms if they want to. And some of them retain these policies while they strive to get people vaccinated.

Unfortunately that has not happened in America, and every time it looks like things are starting to get better people decide to rush to immediately open everything again rather than listening to the science and being patient until things are completely under control.

it depends on us....   if human in America or in China or in UK are doing stupid things like sipping coffee in a close room, the pandemic will never end.   But if we keep distance our social for a while, so it will reduce the spread, maybe it will end!

What do you mean by "end"? It's not going to go extinct. The best we can hope for so is to immunize ourselves to the deadlier forms.

Not if Democrats have their way.

Not as long as there is political utility in it not ending.
