When this baby is born should the father pay child support?
Read this story about a woman who has been charged with having sex with a boy for the last year, starting when he was only 13. She is now pregnant.
When the baby is born should there be a court order for child-support? Should she have the baby in prison, keep the baby, and bring the baby up when she gets out in a few months' time?
Should this boy have to forgo any higher education and go into the fulltime workforce as soon as legally possible? Should he be made to pay child support (including back payments for the years he is in school)?
Why is it considered fair for a male rape victim to be made to pay child-support?

If the baby was conceived before the boy reaches the age of consent, he should not have to pay
but it's quite possible that some judge in the USA rules otherwise

what she should do is up to her. She can choose to have the baby and keep custody even if the baby goes to foster care until she gets out.
The father would have the option to take custody if he is able and could even petition for full custody even after she is out.

The outcome will all depend on what court and what judge hears the case. If it's a conservative leaning judge he will rule the 13 y/o child is NOT responsible for paying support because he was legally RAPED by the woman BUT if it's heard by a liberal judge they will rule the 13 y/o father is financially responsible for the woman raping him and is therefore responsible for the resultant pregnancy!

How do you expect a thirteen-year old pay child support? Use his allowance, birthday money?

no child support. as the victim of a felony, the boy is exempt for life.

No, he will not be ordered to pay anything because of this thing called age of consent. He is not legally allowed to give consent to having sex, so he is not legally responsible for the outcome.

The boy and his parents should be granted custody, and force the mom to pay support

The victim should not have any financial obligation.
Sadly though, the taxpayers will foot the bill. This woman is now a felon/sex offender and will likely never have gainful employment again.
She lends credence to involuntary sterilization as a punishment for rape.

Yes, the father will be on the hook for support most likely. A ruling any other way would be precedent setting.
